January 6 Epiphany: Jesus Everywhere!

Over in Wikipedialand we learn that in Christianity, the Epiphany refers to a realization that Christ is the son of God. Western churches generally celebrate the Visit of the Magi as the revelation of the Incarnation of the infant Christ, and commemorate the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6.
The traditional image usually included in the Nativity setting has three well dressed albeit weary travelers paying homage as would be customary in the courts of royalty.
However, the reality is that Jesus was irreverent. That is the marvel of the Gospel texts. He wasn't the obvious cover-boy for the Vatican News or The Catholic Leader
The Jesus story including the Epiphany reminds us that we will find the sacred in the ordinary experiences of life. After you have been to Rome,Lourdes, Mecca,Jerusalem,Wittenberg, the Ganges and other holy places you return to the joy, hope, grief and anguish that make up our daily bread.
And if you look around and into the eyes of those who serve your coffee and hang out with you the sacred will be there for you to discover and you will have your Epiphany!!
