Forum Friday: Iraq an Unjust War?
In the Catholicism Forum, our moderator, Steven Hepburn, has begun an interesting thread on a report issued in the Netherlands that found that the war in Iraq, which the Dutch government supported, had "no basis in international law." Steven, like I and the current and previous popes, opposed the war because it did not meet the requirement of just-war theory, but I'm interested in hearing from those who thought (at least at the time of the U.S. invasion) that it was justified.
